I honestly can't believe Blogger still exists. I don't think I've seen a Blogger post in years. Then one day I'm looking through the app menu that appears on the upper right hand corner of Chrome, and come across it. Low and behold, it still exists.
That's not why I'm really typing this out to you today though. I want you to know about my music and what I want to achieve with it. You're going to think I'm silly for saying this, but I just want to sound good and sound cool.
Back during the Trap music era, or SoundCloud rap era, that was the coolest thing. Like, you remember those sick Lyrical Lemonade videos? Remember Lil Xan Betrayed? Remember Lil Peep's Spotlight with Marshmello? XXXTentacion? Juice WRLD? Even Trippie Redd and to a lesser extent, Playboi Carti, who makes tasteless music and is only popular because everyone else died. Yeah...
That was my favorite era. Emo rap is my favorite era. The sad boy era is my favorite era, and it doesn't even feel like it was a year ago. You already know how everything changed and went downhill after COVID. I won't explain that or give my two-cents to you.
